Video Games Chronicle is an online source for news related to big upcoming releases. The website has recently begun their own podcast, dedicated to discussion about gaming news and rumors in the cyberspace. In their most recent episode, they discuss the possibility that Konami will be coming to E3.

You can listen to the podcast here.

Around 11 minutes into the podcast, the presenters begin to discuss Konami’s prescence at E3. According to them, Konami is likely to have a large bit of E3 dedicated to them, as they are likely to show off Metal Gear Solid 3’s Remake as well as the Castlevania remake they confirmed earlier.

Konami is going to have a pretty big E3 from my understanding,” Editor-in-Chief Andy Robinson said during the podcast. “It’s been brewing for a while, but I believe this E3 is going to be when you’re going to start to see more of that. I’m pretty sure they’ll have an E3 booth, and they’ll probably hold a lot of this stuff at a platform holder media event.

Robinson acknowledges that the Castlevania remake is likely the furthest along of any of Konami’s remake titles. He speculates that MGS 3 will be shown off at E3, despite not being announced by the company as a project yet. He does not go into detail about his speculation.

Konami has not confirmed any Metal Gear Solid remakes, however, they have for the past two years have remastered versions of classic Metal Gear Solid games, with no clear plan on how to release them.

Quinton Flynn, voice actor for Raiden in the MGS series, recently told players to stay tuned for big things coming from the MGS series. We at THG also recently reported on rumors that classic MGS games may be coming to PC soon.
