Trails into Reverie is just a small part of the larger Trails story arc, so some fans were justifiably annoyed that the West hasn’t had access to the full gauntlet of lore.

The Legend of Heroes series has been a success for decades, so there are actually several titles that would be grouped together for a comprehensive experience. However, this release is still a step in the right direction, as Western fans have consistently shown serious interest in IP like this.

The opening movie showcases Rean Schwarzer, a fan favorite character, and the story will also follow Lloyd Bannings and “C”. Each character will get a unique plushie, available for pre-order on October 27th, at 12pm BST. They look fairly detailed and sized, and should make great collectibles, even for more casual fans.

These plushies coincide with the Limited and Deluxe Editions for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles, which also release on October 27th at 12pm BST.

Both editions will include a variety of extra collectibles. The Limited Edition actually offers the most content, such as a hardcover art book, novel, steelbook and collector’s box. Each edition adds on the glorious soundtrack, which has rightfully earned a lot of praise from fans.

It’s great to see the Trails saga making such a grand entrance to the West, and hopefully it’s a signal for more to come. You can read more about Legend of Heroes and other NIS hits by checking out the rest of our news section!
