The creators of Let’s Build a Zoo have announced the upcoming Aquarium Odyssey DLC, which will offer players an additional 30+ hours of gameplay on a new Aquarium Island. The expansion is set to release later this year on Steam and consoles.
In Aquarium Odyssey, players will embark on a new campaign filled with quests, moral choices, and news articles as they build a successful zoo in a fresh, springwater setting. The DLC will introduce over 50 new fish and mammal species, including dolphins, manta rays, whales, starfish, lobsters, and eels, allowing players to adopt, care for, and splice these creatures. With the addition of sea animals, the sandbox mode will now offer more than 10 million animal variants for players to create.
The expansion will also feature seven new enclosure types, providing environments tailored to the needs of the aquatic creatures, from dense underwater landscapes to colorful coral reefs and barren sea floors. All-glass panels will enable guests to have an up-close experience with the animals.
To further enhance the player’s zoo, Aquarium Odyssey will include 110 new shops, decorations, facilities, and other elements, such as themed shops, signs, pathways, ship decks, mosaic floors, and underwater flora. These additions will allow players to immerse their guests in a captivating aquatic world.
Let’s Build a Zoo is a zoo management simulation game that encourages players to unleash their creativity by importing and breeding rare creatures, hiring staff, keeping visitors happy, and experimenting with DNA splicing. The game offers more than 300,000 different animal combinations, ranging from the graceful Giraffephant to the serene PandOwl. With the upcoming Aquarium Odyssey DLC, players will have even more opportunities to create a unique and thriving zoo experience.
