The story of Lil Gator and his friends captured many players’ hearts when Lil Gator Game was released late last year, taking players on a relaxing adventure. Now, developer MegaWobble and publisher Playtonic Friends have announced that the title is getting a New Game + mode, a “baby mode,” and translations into four new languages.
The biggest feature of the update is the New Game + mode, which will allow players to restart the game from a completed save with all the tools and abilities gained up to that point. There will also be a mode that allows players to play the entire game as a little Lil Gator, called “baby mode.” Lastly, players in new regions can experience the fun of the title with translations into French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish.

Lil Gator Game is a relaxed and wholesome adventure that allows players to take on the world at their own pace, making new friends and locations to discover. With no intense requirements or health bar holding the player back, they’re free to take it easy and interact with the world and its threats at their own leisure.
The combat in Lil Gator Game is against cardboard bad guys, which does make it feel less like you’re hurting other friends and more like pretend. Regardless, there are countless friends to help in this title and the additions of new ways to play and additional languages are sure to help more players take on this cute reptilian adventure.
