City-management titles are some of the most complex games out there, with VR titles like Little Cities letting players live out their inner developer. After a series of continuous updates, developer Purple Yonder has released the “highly-requested” Sandbox Update that brings a lot of customization and other features to Little Cities today.
The Sandbox Update brings a lot of interesting features, not the least of which is the new Landscape Editor, players now have the option to create islands that they dreamed of. After having worked on so many pre-designed scenarios, this new island editor will allow players near-complete freedom. This update also includes modifiers that are meant to allow for even further customization.
The island editor comes alongside new attractions, allowing you to completely customize the way your citizens live. Speaking of citizens, there have been new variations in the type of people that you can see alongside new plants and other foliage. This will ensure that your island looks as diverse as a thriving metropolis should be.
If you aren’t sure where to start, there’s also a new Random Island Generator that can give you a fresh island formation that you’ll then have a new challenge for you to build on.
Little Cities‘ Sandbox Update is the latest in a year that has seen multiple large updates to the title, with each expanding on the possibilities in the game. Purple Yonder continues to show its love for this title by listening to its audience and expanding the game in the requested ways.
