In a recent incident, Twitch streamer LogicalSolutions, known for creating tarkov-changes.com, appears to be one of the first to be punished by the new rules imposed by the developers of Escape From Tarkov. The ban took place after Battlestate Games, the company behind the game, issued a statement via Twitter yesterday, voicing their stand on unauthorized datamining activities.
LogicalSolutions turned to Twitter to express their experience with the ban. They recounted, “Just played a raid after chatting with my stream for two hours… After the raid, I was getting ready to do my second and the game told me to re-login.” The streamer was careful to note that they had not shared any information since the announcement made by Battlestate Games. Furthermore, they stressed that the developer’s official Terms of Service do not explicitly state that such an action would warrant a ban.
LogicalSolutions went on to communicate their disappointment, stating, “Really a sad move from a company like this.” They later added an update: “I was banned for showing information that has been known about and shared PRIOR to the announcement yesterday. Data from JANUARY.”
The final outcome of this situation remains uncertain. It is yet to be seen whether LogicalSolutions’ ban will be reversed, or if their Escape From Tarkov account will remain banned for the foreseeable future.
