Loop8: Summer of Gods is an original coming-of-age role-playing game by XSEEDgames. In this game, players will step into the life of Nini, a newly earthbound teen who arrives in the quaint Japanese town of Ashihara in August 1983. Players will also have the opportunity to investigate the town, make friends with its residents, and face off against the Kegai in turn-based battles where the outcomes depend on the relationships they have built and the decisions they have made.

Loop8: Summer of Gods is set in a nostalgic and beautifully recreated snapshot of rural Japan circa 1983, Ashihara. It is home to a colorful cast of characters, each harboring their own secrets to uncover. Nini will form relationships with the residents of Ashihara as they defend the town from the ever-present danger posed by the Kegai. With the power to travel back in time, players can rectify mistakes or chart a new path forward to explore the myriad possibilities of an August that never ends.
The deadline for humanity’s extinction draws ever closer, Ashihara’s fate remains in Nini’ hands. Players will use Nini’s special connection to the gods to reset the universe, and each loop will give Nini and his companions the opportunity to repeat the eighth month as many times as necessary until they succeed. The emotion-driven artificial intelligence system used in Loop8 reacts to every action and choice that players carry out. The emotions and tales of the characters will change considerably depending on the player’s choices, making each playthrough entirely unique.
Loop8: Summer of Gods also offers a Celestial Edition which includes a softcover artbook with over 50 pages, a musical selections CD, a mini wall scroll, and an authenticJapanese wooden ema, all packaged with the game in a custom box.
