Lost Ark characters missing – will they be restored?

Lost Ark is still struggling on the day of its full release, but this time players aren't finding the characters that they created in the game!
Featured Lost Ark Launch Issues

While Lost Ark has certainly caused a bunch of hype leading into the release in United States, Europe, and other countries, it has certainly had a tumultus launch. While they delayed the full release that was meant to take place at 9am PT, it was then finally released at 2:15pm… or so we thought. It looks like there are still some issue with the game, and this one being more alarming because players aren’t finding the characters they had created already when they got into the game.

Update: No Character’s Missing

It has been confirmed that no character’s are missing, so don’t worry that you have lost anything permanently!

We have confirmed that no characters are missing. All characters created will be present upon logging in.

If there’s any good news in this situation, it is that they developers of the game are working on rectifying the issues. They have released a statement that they have taken the servers offline to get things resolved. Unfortunately, we don’t really know how long this is going to take. The previous delay lasted for around five hours, so hopefully it won’t take that long to get things fixed.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about the characters you have created. This is more than likely a bug, which means they should be able to fix it and bring everything back to how you had it prior to these issues. The big question is how long is it going to take? Well, we don’t know that yet and it could be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or much longer. We will just have to patient and wait to see what happens.

While you wait for the game to get back online, you can head over to the Lost Ark section of our website to read our various guides on how to get ahead in the game!
