Deadeyes are dangerous demon hunters, using powerful tools to rid the world of evil. This Lost Ark class uses flashy attacks and gun-fu to slay their foes and make a name for themselves while doing it. If you need an engravings build to blow away end game content, look no further.
Deadeye Engravings Guide
The Deadeye comes with two unique engravings, Enhanced Weapon and Pistoleer. As is the case of many of Lost Ark’s classes, these two engravings drastically change the way the Deadeye is played and thus can’t be taken together. These unique engravings are more powerful than generic engravings available to every class, and so you want to base your build around your choice.

So what do these engravings do?
- Enhanced Weapon – Lv. 3: Changing Stances enhances your weapon. Crit Rate +30% for 9s.
- Pistoleer – Lv. 3: Can only use the Handgun Stance. Handgun Skill Damage +60%. Stagger Damage +40%. Awakening Skill Damage +30%.
A quick glance at the descriptions of these engravings makes it obvious why they don’t work together. Because of the damage in the deadeye’s shotgun powers, almost nobody takes the Pistoleer engraving; Many end-game Deadeye players rely on swapping between Shotgun and Pistol, so locking out their weapon options is a no-go.
That being said, Pistoleer is a fun engraving and you shouldn’t avoid it if it interests you. Many players like myself were drawn to Deadeye specifically for the pistol-play, preferring not to use the other two weapons at all. If you prefer trying Pistoleer, you can theoretically run this same build by only replacing Enhanced Weapon.
This is in no means a comprehensive list, leaving a few spaces for engravings of your choice. However, these are priority, and should be taken before you add anything of your own.
