MachineGames, creators of the popular Bethesda Wolfenstein games, may be working on several Indiana Jones games to surprise fans with in the coming years.

It should come to no surprise that an Indiana Jones title is being worked on by MachineGames, who originally announced such a project back in 2021. The Wolfenstein developers are already on record for developing said Indiana Jones game, which will original, standalone story set at the height of the famed adventurer’s career.

What may surprise eager fans, however, is that there may potentially be more than just one game in development at this time.

This possible leak comes to us from a concept artist working for MachineGames, Gia Nguyen. The freelance artist recently updated their Linkedin profile, which gave some possible insider information regarding the Indiana Jones development over at MachineGames.

According to their profile, Nguyen is working on “several Indiana Jones projects” at MachineGames, possibly alluding to multiple Indiana Jones titles being worked on by the studio.

While this doesn’t definitely mean that MachineGames is working on several Indiana Jones games at the moment, the chances are within the realm of possibility.

As mentioned above, the current Indiana Jones game being developed by MachineGames is a standalone story, not connected to any of the movies. This means that MachineGames can potentially make any number of Indi titles, as they are not confined to the existing source material.

The existing source material may very well be another reason why MachineGames may be working on several Indi projects. With steady development on their original title, it is very possible that MachineGames, happy with the state of their game, may want to create movie tie-in games that take place in the four original Indiana Jones movies.

It is also possible that MachineGames may be contracted to make a tie in game for the upcoming movie, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
