Management of Novice Alchemist is a Japanese light novel series by Mizuho Itsuki and illustrated by Fuumi. This fantasy, adventure, and slice-of-life series will air in the Fall 2022 anime season from October.
The official announcement trailer for Management of Novice Alchemist showcases the comedic storyline, the main characters of the series, and the fantasy world they’re living in.
Management of Novice Alchemist follows the story of a young girl named Sarasa. When she graduated from the Royal Alchemist Academy, her teacher gifted her a tattered house to set up her alchemist shop in a remote village.
As she plans to become the best alchemist, she gathers dangerous materials, experiments, and operates her business. Her plans for a relaxed life are thrown out the window as she must survive in a strange land and destroy dangerous monsters while aiming to become the number one alchemist.
The series will be directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, known for his work on Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Magical Circle, and Kiratto Pri☆chan Season 2. The series composition was created by Shigeru Murakoshi, known for their work on Zombieland Saga and The Gymnastics Samurai.
Besides the incredible staff behind Management of Novice Alchemist, the voice actors who will bring to life the main characters of this series include:
- Kanon Takao, who will voice Sarasa Feed. Kanon is known for her roles as Latina in If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord, and Rit from Banished From The Hero’S Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside.
- Hina Kino, who will voice Lorea. Hina is known for her roles as Hanako Honda from Asobi Asobase: Workshop of Fun and Ranka Ookami from Seton Academy: Join the Pack!
- Saori Onishi, who will voice Iris Lotze. Saori is known for her roles as Ais Wallenstein in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and Shikimori in Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie.
- Nanaka Suwa, who will voice Kate Starven. Nanaka is known for her roles as Kanan Matsuura from Love Live! Sunshine!! and Yui from BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.
The English voice actors for this series haven’t been announced.
