Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is getting a big update for PS5 on March 7th, 2024. This update includes features like New Game Plus, new suits, and improvements for accessibility. It’s exactly what many people have wanted.

According to an announcement from PlayStation, New Game Plus is coming. New Game Plus lets you keep all your unlocked suits and abilities. New Game Plus also brings Ultimate Levels and Golden Gadget styles, providing extra challenges and customization choices.

The latest update also introduces two new outfits for the Spider-Men: the Hellfire Gala suits for Peter Parker and Miles Morales. A recent storyline inspired these designs in Marvel Comics, and they are now available for you to use during your patrols in New York.

The Fly N’ Fresh suit pack, created in partnership with Gameheads, features unique outfits for Peter and Miles with a 90s style. It is currently available for early access for $4.99, with a portion of the proceeds – up to $1 million – supporting Gameheads’ mission of empowering underrepresented youth in the video game industry. These suits will be made available to all players for free in the near future.

The latest update includes new features to assist players with visual impairments, such as Audio Descriptions and Screen Reader options. There are also enhancements for a broader audience, like Cinematic Captions and High Contrast Outlines.

Photo Mode is also getting an improvement in this latest update. The action figure mode has been added, allowing users to capture dynamic poses in a new way. Additionally, it is now possible to include stickers and adjust the time of day, so that’s a big plus.
