The first Marvel’s Spider-Man game on the PlayStation 4 was a monumental success, relaunching the superhero into the hearts of gamers, with the sequel highly anticipated among fans. Now, the trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been revealed, showing Peter, Miles, and Harry working together to try and save the city.

In the trailer, players can see Harry begin to talk to Peter on the steps, commenting on how he’s been stuck for the last decade. Now that he’s back, he’s going to try and help the world. However, Peter is seemingly affected by some negative force that’s likely to be Venom revealed from the PlayStation showcase earlier this summer.

The trailer was leaked online shortly before it was released by PlayStation, giving a much better look at the characters and situation that Peter, Miles, and Harry will find themselves in. It gives a good look at Venom in his full glory. After being in a stasis pod for a decade, it seems that Harry may have stumbled onto the symbiote or created it.

Harry’s father and Mary Jane look as if they will also play major parts in the story, with the former concerned about his son and MJ worrying about Peter. As seen from the showcase a few months ago, Miles will seemingly play a big part in trying to bring Peter back from the brink.
