The EA Site for Mass Effect now has a new location that fans can look through for hints on the next Mass Effect game. The website has a message and video for fans to decipher and was posted on N7 day, November 7, 2023.

UPDATE: A second video is revealed! Click here to see our news article on it!

When you go to the site, there isn’t much to see. You can immediately see these words in white:

/////ACCESS CODE: EPSILON

/////ACCESS CODE ACCEPTED

/////SECONDARY ENCRYPTION DETECTED

/////VJBSVU-XXXX-XXXXXXXX

/////ANDROMEDA DISTRESS SIGNAL DETECTED

/////YEAR SENT: [REDACTED]

/////AUDIO TRANSCRIPT: ALTHOUGH THEY SHOULD KNOW BY NOW NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE HUMAN [REDACTED]

The website also had an unlisted video entitled “N7 Day 2023 | Epsilon” which features what looks like someone walking down a hall near a spaceship. I can’t really tell what the species of the person is but I can say that they look like they’re in the military. The URL shows masseffect/epsilon so my guess is that’s what the name of the game will be.

The video above is purposefully revealing nothing, and it would take a lot of frame-by-frame study to see what it is referring to. However, the wording references Andromeda and not to underestimate humans. This may be the way to merge the unpopular Mass Effect Andromeda entry with the beloved original trilogy.

I sincerely hope Shepard returns and that I don’t need to deal with the Ryder family. I preferred Shepard and he/she was a much more relatable protagonist. As for what the hints all mean, no one knows.

I’ve been a fan for a while, and based on the previous trailer, we may see what happens in the future after the reapers. Shepard’s N7 insignia was found in the snow and an aged Liara could be seen, so I would believe that this is further showing that the galaxy has healed after the reapers. Still, we’ll have to wait and see.
