V Rising has you awakening as a vampire in a hostile world. You will need to find blood to regain your strength, and build your way up to the top of the vampire hierarchy. To do so, you will need to create a base for you and your friends or attempt to go it alone. If you want to find Matka the Curse Weaver and learn their secret recipes, we’ll show you where you need to go in this guide.
V Bloods are valuable targets because they will unlock a variety of different abilities, blueprints, and recipes that will be important for bolstering your castle and crafting stronger armor. While you can track their scent in the game, it is much easier to know exactly where you are going to find them.
Matka the Curse Weaver Location
To find Matka the Curse Weaver in V Rising, you will need to go to the western portion of the Cursed Forest. This V Blood is level 72 and can be found in the Nest of the Curse Weaver.
The map below features the exact location of where you will find Matka the Curse Weaver. As you can see, you just need to stay on the western side and head north to reach the area where you the boss will spawn. Credit for the map goes to Map Genie.
The battle will occur outdoors, so you will want to time it when the sun isn’t going to become a factor and make things more difficult for you. If you’re in need of some battle strategy, you can check out the following video.
Slaying Matka the Curse Weaver will earn you a new power, which is Unstable Mosquito. This is a summon ability that will bring a mosquito NPC that will chase an enemy and explode after a second. It deals 60% magic damage in an area and inflicts amplify that increases damage taken by 25% for 5 seconds.
You will also unlock the Schematic recipe, which you can use at the Paper Press. These will allow you to do research and potentially discover random technology, which can unlock recipes for gear and other items.
