In MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, which was first released in 2019, players are taken to the year 3015, a time when humanity has managed to conquer a large part of the space, known only as the Inner Sphere. With that said, in the game, players take on the role of a mercenary as they must board their mechs and take part in epic battles in their journey to becoming an elite MechWarrior.

You can check out the official description of the upcoming Call to Arms expansion below, as it is presented on the game’s official site:

”Join up with the Independent People of Skye to capture the Lyran Commonwealth’s newest BattleMech, the Hatchetman in a 5 mission quest line.”

You can currently play MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries as well as experience all the features introduced in both its DLC expansions, Heroes of the Inner Sphere, and Legend of the Kestrel Lancers right now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and on PC, via Steam, Microsoft Store, GOG.com, and on the Epic Games Store. The game’s Call to Arms DLC is set to be released at a later date.
