In an unexpected turn of events, the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch console later this year, as revealed during the June 2023 Nintendo Direct. This announcement comes merely a month after the collection was initially announced for release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC during the recent PlayStation Showcase.
Last month, publisher Konami delighted fans with the announcement of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. In addition to the reveal of this Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, it was also announced that as part of the celebration of the series’ 35th anniversary, Konami will also deliver Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1.
