Today has been truly fantastic for Totally Spies! fans as the animated franchise is not only returning to screens but is also being adapted into a video game.
Paris-based video game developer and publisher, Microids, has just announced that they are working with Banijay Kids and Family to develop a video game based on the animated series, Totally Spies! It is planned to be released in 2024 for PC and consoles.
As revealed by Microids, the Totally Spies! video game will offer players the opportunity to take on the role of the three legendary secret agents, Sam, Clover, and Alex. The secret agents must try and save the world from a new enemy, with a host of thrilling missions, offering innovative game mechanics. The Chief Executive Officer of Microids, Stéphane Longeard, also made the following statement about the upcoming Totally Spies! video game:
“Microids is committed to faithfully and innovatively adapting well-known IP and it is a real honour for us to work on the Totally Spies! license. Thanks to the skills of our studios and in-house teams, we will do everything we can to offer the community a game that meets its expectations.”

The video game adaptation announcement comes on the heels of the recent revelation that the Totally Spies! cartoon series would finally return to screens in 2024. This upcoming series is a sequel to the original six-season. It follows Sam, Clover, and Alex, as they move to a new city and take on a fresh crop of villains.
Since it premiered on television, the animated program Totally Spies! has quickly risen to become one of the most popular shows of its kind. It is especially lauded for showcasing strong female leads and its characters continue to serve as an inspiration to modern generations in both areas of media and fashion.
