Now that Chapter 6 of Book 2 has been released in Piggy, it looks like MiniToon, the developer of the game, will be focusing on his other Piggy game. Intercity is a Piggy themed game, but is open world, which will encourage you to run around and complete quests, missions, and engage in base building!
Piggy: Intercity was released as a demo in January 2021, but hasn’t really been touched since then. It appears that MiniToon will now be focused on it again, and they are hoping that it will be released at some point in March.
MiniToon answered some questions in the the above Tweet thread on what they will be working on. It sounds like consumables will have additional amounts when they drop, and cars will be made more driveable. A beret with selectable colors could be added, plus a bunch of other hats could be planned. A wardrobe area for your character could also be added, so you can change your clothes and try on new outfits!
Based on the tweets, it seems like there’s a lot of ideas up in the air and there’s going to be a lot of new stuff added to the game soon!
If you’re a big fan of the original Piggy, don’t worry, because Piggy isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!
