Publisher Shiravune and developer AQUAPLUS revealed, through the reveal of a new 4-minute long trailer, that AQUAPLUS’ upcoming JRPG, Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten, will be released worldwide on September 8th, 2022. The game is being released in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the release of Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, the first title in the acclaimed tactical RPG franchise, Utawarerumono.
The title will be released for PS4, PS5, and PC in Japan. The game’s English version, on the other hand, will be available exclusively on Steam, at least for now. According to the trailer, those that purchase Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten on Steam during its pre-order phase will also receive a Digital Art Booklet and the game’s digital soundtrack ”Prelude”, featuring a total of 30 exclusive songs.

As you could check out above, the game promises to feature a new approach to the series’ characteristic tactical combat system, all while featuring beautiful visuals and a stellar soundtrack.
About the Game
In Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten, players will take on the role of Oshtor, a young man with a strong sense of justice who, after meeting a mysterious girl named Shunya, embarks on a journey to the country of Arva Shulan, in the hopes of discovering the truth behind his father’s alleged death.
