Marvel and Fortnite have been working together for years to bring essential crossovers to the game. Most recently, at the start of Chapter 3, players experienced a whole new range of features with the additions of Spider-Man and his web-shooting gadgets. Now, another Marvel partnership is being rumored for Fortnite.
The Moon Knight is a hero with multiple personalities who will soon be getting a show on Disney+. The masked vigilante will be traveling around New York City fighting crime and discovering his powers starting on March 30.
Possible Leak Pointing to Moon Knight Crossover
According to @ShiinaBR on Twitter, Epic Games and Disney invited some Fortnite content creators to an event for the upcoming Moon Knight Show on Disney+. According to Shiina, the same thing happened with Dune, with a new collab following shortly after.
With the show releasing in just a few days, it would be the perfect time for collaboration. The original leak comes from @NotPaloleaks, who passed it on to Shiina. A screenshot was also shared by a YouTuber called Kross EleCtRoO on Instagram.
The picture is of a promotional Moon Knight banner, promoting the show’s start date at the end of March. He also thanks Fortnite specifically, meaning that Epic had some part in the event.
Speculation on the Moon Knight Crossover
The Moon Knight crossover will most likely include an outfit set with all the pieces that come with it. The Dune crossover event brought both Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet’s characters getting a complete Outfit. It’s become second nature for Marvel to put skins in Fortnite at this point, and this one will be no different.
This could include the likeness of the actor who portrays Moon Knight, Oscar Isaac. There have been images circulating of an emote that shows characters transferring into the Moon Knight costume, but this is only speculation.
This crossover will likely at least feature the hero’s costume, allowing players to take out the bad guys on the battlefield. His back bling could be his cape or a moon that changes phases, which dictates how strong he is. The melee weapon could be his Truncheon, which is similar to past weapons that have been added before.
Players can likely expect more Marvel crossovers in the future, even with the Prowler being unlocked on the Battle Pass in a few weeks. Additionally, fans will probably see the new Fortnite crossover in the coming days if the leaks are to be believed.
