Naraka: Bladepoint is set to roll out this month’s update on February 2nd, delivering exciting new content such as a new level, hero, mode, and more, along with various bug fixes and balance changes. In preparation for the February update, the servers of Naraka: Bladepoint will be unavailable from February 1st, 2023 at 23:00 (UTC) until February 2nd, 2023 at 03:00 (UTC) for maintenance.
Naraka: Bladepoint February update will feature a new episode of Showdown, with the debut of a brand-new boss, the Matron of Yushan or Gelid Yushan, and a new hero, Tianhai, a humble monk who transformed into a colossal Vajra warrior. Tianhai gains the “Counter” skill in Showdown after transforming into Vajra. When equipped with the special Souljade that enhances the ultimate, the Counterstrike combination is increased, and the boss is stunned for a longer duration.
The February update will also add Enigma Domain, a new mode in which monsters gain strength over time. In this mode, the greater the number of monsters defeated before time runs out, the greater the rewards that players will earn. Frostbite Omens, a new type of Omens, will also be introduced with this update. This type of Omens causes the hero to become frozen when their Frostbite reaches a certain amount. Nonetheless, equipping Souljades with the Ice-wielding attribute may aid in resisting Frostbite Omens’ effects.
With the new update, players will now have a chance to get Souljade with the Ice-wielding attribute in all Showdown levels. Meanwhile, Ice Essence can be obtained by completing weekly challenges. Ice Essence can imbue Ice-wielding to those Souljades without this attribute.
Each Ice-wielding Souljade a player equips raises their Ice-wielding ability by 1. Higher Ice-wielding levels deal greater damage to Astral Aegis and are more resistant to Frostbite Omens. There are 30 new Showdown Souljades that are now available, which include the following:
- 7 Ice Souljades of melee weapon, 6 of ranged weapon, and 4 of other special effects.
- Exclusive Souljades that enhance Tianhai, Temulch, and Matari’s ultimates.
- Defuse·Dash(Counterattack) & (Concentrate), Defuse·Combo(Counterattack) & (Concentrate).
- 5 Souljades that enhance ranged attack and Weaponry Chest Boon.
Naraka: Bladepoint now includes Feria Shen‘s new skill, Gunplay: Aim, and ultimate, Mech Mayhem: Co-pilot. To use Feria’s new skill, jump backward and lift the gun, aim, and fire with high damage, and silence enemies for 3 seconds. While utilizing this skill, use the crosshair to change the direction of the jump. Meanwhile, set a beacon at the designated spot for Feria Shen’s ultimate and knock adjacent enemies airborne. By engaging with the beacon, Feria and her allies may operate the Bronze Mech, which has lower health than the ultimate Mech Mayhem. When firing enemies, it deals greater damage and builds Energy faster.
