On July 13, PlayStation 5 players will be able to immerse themselves in the action-packed world of Naraka: Bladepoint, as announced by Yongcheng, the Lead Producer of the game’s PS5 version. The development team has exerted significant effort in optimizing this mythical, martial arts-themed battle royale game for PlayStation 5.

Naraka: Bladepoint offers a PVP combat experience, supporting up to 60 players in a match. Unique to this battle royale is its focus on swift melee combat, demanding players to master fast-paced action for survival.

The game’s story centers on an eternal conflict between two ancient gods, Sunwing and Moonbane. Their battle results in the creation of the Immortal Mask, a powerful artifact that bestows immense power upon its wielder. This leads to a war among mortals that players can partake in, assuming the roles of various characters including the blind blademaster Viper Ning of Yushan, the foreign monk Tianhai, and the grassland’s Grey Wolf, Temulch. The game currently features 16 playable heroes, each boasting unique skills and intricate character designs.

The environment of Naraka offers a rich, immersive battlefield filled with Eastern architecture that players can traverse. Details such as temples, cities, mines, waterfalls, and wildlife all contribute to the vibrantly interactive landscape.

Specifically for the PS5 version, the developers optimized the game’s controls for the DualSense controller, facilitating smooth execution of any combo. Features such as an aim-pilot for better grapple use, auto-turnaround, and SSD optimization for higher frame rates and loading speeds are also part of this release.

The game will be free-to-play from July 13 in North America. To celebrate the PS5 release, the development team is gifting PlayStation fans with a Katana skin, a Ryuzan·Frost Reflection, and 2 Immortal Treasures. PlayStation Plus members will receive additional bonuses, including 5 more Treasures, exclusive Headwear designed specifically for PS Plus members, and more.
