When Neon White was released over the summer of last year, it quickly garnered a following due to its humor and unique mechanics. Now, according to pre-order pages on Target, fans can now get a physical copy of Neon White on either the PlayStation 5 or the Nintendo Switch, with the game releasing on Sept. 12, 2023.
Players can currently find copies of Neon White on the Target website by searching “Neon White,” which will bring up the Switch and PlayStation 5 pre-order options. Assuming this was not a mistake, the official announcement should come later today during typical business hours. If it was posted by accident, it’s likely that the products could be removed until they’re added back.

Neon White is a unique FPS experience that encourages players to work as fast as they can to get through each level, allowing the ability to exchange weapons for parkour skills. Playing as the titular Neon White, you’ll soar across each level as you earn new “Soul Cards” with weapons or discard them to get unique buffs that bolster your movement.
It’s a pretty standard platformer that’s filled to the brim with style, but very much a time trial-based game, so make sure you’re into that before signing up. That being said, those that seem to enjoy this title really love it.
For whatever reason, there has been no Neon White Xbox Physical Edition added to Target, so it’s unclear if this is planned at this time. If these two versions sell well enough, it could motivate publisher Annapurna Interactive to invest more in an Xbox physical edition.
