Racing games are one of the less appreciated genres but developers continue to make monumental strides in expanding the worlds and creating more detailed cars. Many racing fans are excited about the new Forza Motorsport game releasing on Oct. 10, with new screenshots leaking that show a car on a track during a rainy day.

These images were originally shared in a Reddit post, with a user claiming that there are screenshots that no one has seen yet. These screenshots are hosted on Imgur and seem to include a black and orange car driving on some kind of guided track with arrows showing the course. The Imgur post seems to think they come from a recent beta and people in the Reddit thread seem to agree.

Forza Motorsport was originally scheduled to release this past spring before being delayed to later in 2023, now listed on the Xbox Store as releasing on Oct. 10. If these images are real, they seem to show at least part of a game that looks to function, although it’s hard to tell this from still images. Even still, these screenshots do show a good car model and a beautiful environment with dynamic weather.

As with many AAA racing titles nowadays, Forza Motorsport will feature a wide variety of new cars from world-famous brands to allow players the most realistic gameplay. There will likely be more official images and videos revealed as we get closer to the release date in just under two months.
