Nickelodeon characters are coming to Smite

A cavalcade of Nickelodeon favorites are joining Smite in the upcoming Nickelodeon x Smite crossover.
Smite X Nickelodeon

Smite: Battleground of the Gods is a popular MMORPG that sees players battling as powerful characters from human myths and legends in third-person arena combat. Not only does the game have a roster of legends such as Zeus, Areas, and Amaterasu playable, it also gives players the chance to play a number of characters from modern epics. Characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender, RWBY, Slipknot and more are all playable via reskins of existing characters, and now we can see yet another crossover making its way into Smite’s skin shop — Nickelodeon.

Announced this morning on Smite’s official Twitter, the upcoming Nickelodeon characters are shown off in an extravagant display in their animated teaser trailer. In this trailer, iconic Nickelodeon characters Danny Phantom, Zim, and Rocco from Rocco’s Modern Life engage in some classic animated shenanigans until they are interrupted by the discovery of Smite’s own Zeus.

The rest of the skins coming to Smite are then shown off in their entirety. In total, we can expect to see 5 new skins joining the Smite store as part of the Nickelodeon crossover, each one created in an iconically cartoony style.

Skins coming to smite in the Nickelodeon x Smite crossover

The full list of Nickelodeon x Smite crossover skins is as follows:

  • Rocko for Danzaburou
  • Danny Phantom for Janus
  • Invader Zim for Cupid
  • “Jenny” XJ9 for Freya
  • Powdered Toast Man for Gilgamesh

All of these skins will replace the existing models for the Smite characters they can be purchased for, and will use the god’s abilities with new effects. Like with other Smite crossovers, these new skins will replace the silhouette of the existing gods, so some players may not recognize them in-game. Its safe to say that Smite players will need to prepare themselves for things to get a little cartoony on the battleground of the gods.
