V Rising has you awakening as a vampire in a hostile world. You will need to find blood to regain your strength, and build your way up to the top of the vampire hierarchy. To do so, you will need to create a base for you and your friends or attempt to go it alone. V Bloods are valuable targets because they will unlock a variety of different abilities, blueprints, and recipes that will be important for bolstering your castle and crafting stronger armor. While you can track their scent in the game, it is much easier to know exactly where you are going to find them.
Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer Location
To find Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer in V Rising, you will need to travel along the road that goes horizontally through the center of the Cursed Forest to the south. The Nightmarshal patrols along the path, so their exact location varies.
The map below features the exact location of where you will find Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer. As you can see, you just need to stay on the southern road and you will eventually run into them. Credit for the map goes to Map Genie.
The battle will occur outdoors, so you will want to time it when the sun isn’t going to become a factor and make things more difficult for you. If you’re in need of some battle strategy, you can check out the following video.
Slaying Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer will earn you a new power, which is Bat Form. This is a particularly useful form that allows you to fly high into the air and crossover impassable terrain. That means you no longer have to rely on other means of travel to reach hard to get to places. However, you can’t use this form while carrying resources, and while indoors you will need a valid landing location when you exit the form.
The one problem with Bat form is that you can’t use it during the day, because you fly high above the map which means you will immediately get disintegrated!
Styx does not have any recipes on them, but the Bat Form is quite useful so they are worth hunting down regardless!
