Nintendo has just announced an all-new livestream counting down to the midnight launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo’s highly anticipated follow-up to Breath of the Wild, launches on May 12th, 2023. Today’s livestream was announced in a new tweet from Nintendo of America’s official feed:
Nintendo Treehouse: Live segments have been very informative, and it may very well include brand-new footage for the game, even though Nintendo released the “final trailer” last month. Fans can likely expect an interview delving into the gameplay.
Years ago, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also got the Nintendo Treehouse treatment. It could be a fair comparison for what viewers might expect, though it has been a while. Newer events have tended to run a little longer. You can check out the Breath of the Wild event on the Nintendo YouTube channel:
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has already revealed quite a lot, including a variety of mechanics, Link’s new abilities, environments and lore. But the game’s content is so clearly vast, that there’s still plenty more context and features to discover.
It’s appreciated that the Zelda franchise continues to evolve and expand, creating genuine hype after years of waiting. There are some very creative twists in each of the existing trailers. Connecting the sky and terrain created such a larger scope, likely to match the narrative. Next week’s livestream will be a terrific way to celebrate both the ambitious new title and the community.
