An upcoming sale has been announced by Nintendo of Europe that will kick off Spring with some price cuts on a bunch of different titles.

Nintendo is pretty notorious for rarely dropping the prices of their first-party games. The Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild for instance is still full-price even though it was released all the way back in 2017. So, when Nintendo announces a sale, most fans of the company perk up, because it is a rare chance to nab some great games a bit cheaper.

The upcoming sale was announced on Nintendo’s Europe Twitter account. This makes things a bit confusing because it’s unclear if the sale will be exclusive to European countries. The good news is that the promotion suggests there will be over 1,000 games that will see some kind of price reduction.

Unfortunately, not much else is known about the sale other than it will take place at some point on April 28th, 2022. We hope that some of Nintendo’s first-party games will get some price cuts, as many are worried that it will only be obscure third-party games that see a reduction.
