Digits is a math-based game developed and published by New York Times. Each day, there are five puzzles released, and in each puzzle, players have six numbers that they can add, subtract, multiply, or divide by in order to reach the target number. The target is 156. There are three operations to get to 3-stars for the second puzzle.
- 15 × 11 = 165
- 165 – 7 = 158
- 158 – 2 = 156

The target is 264. There are three operations to get to 3-stars for the third puzzle.
- 25 + 5 = 30
- 30 × 9 = 270
- 270 – 6 = 264

The target is 312. There are three operations to get to 3-stars for the fourth puzzle.
- 20 + 6 = 26
- 15 − 3 = 12
- 26 × 12 = 312
NYT Digits, Puzzle 5 Answer for April 12, 2023
The target is 438. There are four operations to get to 3-stars for the fifth puzzle.
- 23 × 19 = 437
- 437 – 11 = 426
- 426 + 7 = 433
- 433 + 5 = 438
Digits rewards players with up to 3-stars; you’ll get 3-stars for getting to the target exactly, 2-stars if you are within 10 of the target, and 1-star if you are within 25 of the target. Players can start a new operation by selecting a different number, and fractions or negative numbers are not accepted. New puzzles are released daily at midnight.

Hello. Thank you for your help, however April 12 Puzzle 4 is exactly the same as Puzzle 3 hence there is no answer for Puzzle 4. Kindly edit and post solution for Puzzle 4.
