New avatar items inspired by pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo are now available on Roblox, a leading global online platform. Marking the second anniversary of Rodrigo’s acclaimed album ‘Sour’, these items are part of the #2YearsOfSOUR Official Roblox Collection.
Players can now acquire two unique items for their avatars: the Olivia Rodrigo SOUR Stickers Aura and the Olivia Rodrigo drivers license Cropped T-Shirt. Each of these items is available for purchase at 100 Robux.
Rodrigo, renowned as a singer-songwriter and actress, first gained recognition through her roles in the late 2010s Disney television shows Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Her music career took a significant leap in 2020, when she signed with Geffen and Interscope Records and released her debut single “Drivers License”. The single set several records and was among the best-selling songs of 2021, ushering Rodrigo into the spotlight of mainstream music.
Following the tremendous success of “Drivers License”, Rodrigo, along with her producer Dan Nigro, expanded what was initially planned as an EP into a full-length album, titled ‘Sour’. Released in May 2021, Sour received widespread critical and commercial acclaim, bagging various accolades including three Grammy Awards. In 2022, the creative process behind the album was documented in a Disney+ feature, ‘Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U’.
