The Sisters 2 – Road to Fame, an upcoming open world adventure and party game from developer Balio Studio and publisher Microids, has released a new cinematic and gameplay teaser today.

The Sisters 2 – Road to Fame is slated to launch on October 5th, 2023. It will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and current or last-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 are also getting physical editions. You can watch today’s new release date teaser on the Microids YouTube channel:

Today’s teaser for The Sisters 2 – Road to Fame is pretty disappointing. Strangely, an official Microids blog post published today suggests the game has only just revealed its release date trailer, but that was announced last month, and it hasn’t been delayed.

Further, the new teaser remains very shy about the gameplay itself, which doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. There are some very brief glimpses of the signature mini games, but you’ll mostly find cinematics for a simple story.

The original game, The Sisters – Party of the Year, shares many of the same mechanics and has remained largely overlooked since launch. And The Sisters 2 – Road to Fame doesn’t seem to have any more ambition or budget than the first.

However, both titles appear to be colorful, carefree, and silly enough to represent the comic book. This should be perfectly time-consuming for the target audience, if not especially enriching.

The mini games in today’s teaser seem like pretty standard fare, except for the rollerblading, which does seem like a highlight with a sense of freedom. At the very least, The Sisters 2 – Road to Fame will be available on all major platforms, making it easy for most kids to play if the parents so choose.
