Overwatch 2 aka OW2 is soon to launch and will be transitioning players from the first game over to the newly revamped and improved version of the popular title. However, before the game is ready to play, the first version will be taken down to prepare for it. Once that has been completed, you will soon get your chance to try out the new free to play version. If you’ve been waiting anxiously for Overwatch 2, we’ve got a countdown ticking down to when it will be released.
Overwatch 2 Release Date & Time
Overwatch 2 is scheduled to be released on October 4th and 5th, 2022. The release time should be the same across the globe, so here’s a look at when that will be in your neck of the woods:
- Americas – October 4th at 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT / 4pm BRT
- Europe – October 4th at 8pm BST / 9pm CEST
- China – October 5th at 3am CST
- Australia – October 5th at 6am AEDT
Due to the transitioning from the first Overwatch to the second, it is possible that things get delayed. If that’s the case, we will update this post with any new information.
