Pac-Man World was first released in 1999. This is where Pac-Man made his debut in the exciting 3D platformer genre. In the remastered Pac-Man World Re-PAC, Pac-Man comes home on his birthday to discover something terrible has happened. Ghosts have kidnapped Pac-Man’s family and friends, and his birthday party has been ruined.
Pac-Man must now set out on a dangerous journey through the six areas of Ghost Island (Pirate, Ruins, Space, Funhouse, Factory, and Mansion) while dodging bad guys and solving puzzles to find and rescue his friends and family.
You will need to find keys hidden in each world to rescue Pac-Mom, Pac-Boy, Pac-Sis, Professor Pac, Pac-Buddy, and Pooka. It may sound easy, but you must face off against the Ghosts’ boss, Toc-Man.
Instead of the traditional running and eating, Pac-man will also be able to butt-bounce, rev-roll, hover-jump, and more. You can also become invincible and walk underwater with the Chrome Suit and become Mega-Pac-man to eat Ghosts.
There are also multiple modes available to players. You can play a collection of 3D mazes in Maze Mode and clear Quest Mode to unlock the original Pac-Man game in the Original mode.
The remastered version of Pac-Man World Re-PAC has enhanced graphics and features, bringing the joy of Pac-Man and platformer games to modern consoles on August 26, 2022.
