Renowned publisher Paradox Interactive, best known for their Cities: Skylines content, has just revealed that a new Paradox Announcement Show will air on March 6th, 2023. Presented by Xbox, it will premiere at 6 PM CET, which is 9 AM pacific time.

Alongside today’s announcement was a brief teaser, which confirms that at least three new games will be revealed, as well as more expansions and updates for existing titles. Here’s the full reveal from Paradox Interactive’s official Twitter feed, where you can sign up for reminders:

Cities: Skylines remains a pivotal city builder for the genre, thanks to solid mechanics and consistent expansions that elaborate on the game enough to renew interest. Although Cities: Skylines originally launched back in 2015, a remastered edition only just released on next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles this month.

So, there could very well be news about even more expansions for Cities: Skylines, perhaps for next-gen consoles too. Some of Paradox Interactive’s other titles may also be getting a remaster soon.

Meanwhile, developer Triumph Studios will bring Age of Wonders 4 on May 2nd, 2023, so there should be a new trailer or behind-the-scenes look. 4X games are notoriously difficult to pull together, and further details would go a long way in helping fans of the genre decide to invest. Today’s teaser included Triumph Studios’ logo, so it’s pretty much guaranteed.

There were also nods to Iceflake Studios, Colossal Order, and Harebrained Schemes. These studios worked with Paradox Interactive on titles like Surviving the Aftermath and the Shadowrun series.

Naturally, the highlight of the upcoming showcase will be the game reveals, though the flexibility of the developers that work with Paradox Interactive makes it tough to speculate.
