Recent information shared by Aggiornamenti Lumia, a Twitter account known for its leaks, points towards a potential September 21, 2023 release for Payday 3. This leak emerges amidst sparse official news about the game’s development and release.

Starbreeze Studio, the team behind Payday 3, stated earlier this year that they’ve been diligently working on the game. They promised that despite the current lack of information, the wait would be worthwhile. The team is also nearing readiness to reveal more details about the game’s progress.

The devs also indicated that this summer will see the release of Payday 3 gameplay footage, as well as additional details about what players can expect from the game. Starbreeze Nebula, the studio’s subscription service, is currently available for players to sign up to receive the latest Payday 3 news and updates. Subscribing to Nebula also allows players the opportunity to earn Twitch Drops and other bonuses for Payday 2.

Payday 3 is the sequel to the popular co-op shooter Payday 2. Players have enjoyed the thrill of planning and executing heists in the series, and Payday 3 is expected to continue to deliver this unique co-op FPS experience.

In Payday 3, players will once again step into the shoes of the Payday Gang, a group known for its criminal activities and ability to evade law enforcement. The game takes place several years after the gang’s reign in Washington DC, with the crew forced to reassemble in response to a new threat, pulling them out of retirement.

While official confirmation of the release date is yet to be announced, the information from Aggiornamenti Lumia suggests that it may be closer than expected. In the meantime, Starbreeze Studios encourages players to stay tuned for upcoming reveals.
