Fans of Persona 4 Arena will be happy to hear that a release date and time for the remaster of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is finally around the corner. It is available today, March 17th and can be ordered through Steam, while it is listed as “coming soon” for Nintendo Switch and PS4.
The heroes are still on the lookout for the enigmatic force responsible for everything that has transpired. Meanwhile, the Midnight Channel resumes broadcasting in the town of Inaba, where their search is still ongoing… With the action now taking place in the real world, the insane has reached new heights! The P-1 CLIMAX is ready to be unveiled to the public!
An army of shadows has launched an attack… Who could be the mastermind behind everything?
Two months after the events of Persona 4, Inaba is gripped by a terrifying sense of foreboding once more. As a result of a new program, a fighting tournament known as the P-1 Grand Prix, airing on the Midnight Channel, members of the Investigation Team begin to mysteriously vanish one by one.
In order to solve the case, the protagonist and the remaining members of the team return to the television world. There, they find themselves as competitors in the P-1 Grand Prix, where they are forced to fight against their own peers…!
Fortunately, the Shadow Operatives, which are composed of Mitsuru, Akihiko, and Aigis, are also on the case and have joined the battle against the bad guys. The players learn more about the strange circumstances surrounding this tournament as they battle one another…
