EDIT: It’s back down again, you can no longer get it.

Persona 5 Tactica had a planned release date of November 17, but apparently, that’s not the case for the Steam version of the game. It’s unknown whether the game will remain open to buy but there is a window where players can get it right now. I personally wonder if this was planned or if it was indeed released too early.

Person 5 Tactica was released before the planned release day of November 17 on Steam. You can get it on Steam right now for some reason so if you want to play the game early, get it now. I have no idea how something like this could happen but it’s a pretty big deal, especially with console makers waiting for their turn. This arguably takes away potential buyers from the consoles because people tend to try to get games as early as they can.

There is likely also no repercussion if you buy it early because Steam likely won’t lock the game. You paid a price to buy it and the store did not say it would be locked so technically they can’t keep you from playing the game if you buy it early.

At that point, it’s just smart for Steam to leave it open because they will incur the wrath of customers if they don’t. It’s also not really their fault since the developer or publisher sets the release date and time.

I do not doubt that this will cause issues with Xbox and PlayStation. This isn’t an indie game, it’s an official publisher that has released a huge game already. This is technically a spin-off but Persona 5 Royal has been a popular game, so any more information or dives into its world is valuable.

We’ll update this article when the game is no longer available to buy if that happens, but we’re very curious to see how this all plays out.
