The combat adventure game, Persona 5 Tactica, is setting the stage for an intriguing lineup of characters in its newest trailer. The central focus of the game is the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a squad that players lead against a military group called the Legionnaires. Within this context, the latest addition to the roster, Joker, takes the spotlight.
In Persona 5 Tactica, players assemble a team of three from a roster of various heroes, each bringing unique abilities, talents, and Personas to the battlefield. These characteristics serve as critical tools in the fight against oppressive forces. Leading the Phantom Thieves, Joker brings his own arsenal of skills into play.
Joker’s weapons focus on single enemies, offering a long range of attack to keep players distanced from enemy fire while delivering moderate damage. His unique skill, Phantom Judge, serves dual purposes. It inflicts harm on enemies within range and dismantles their guard, providing a strategic advantage.
Joining Joker is the character Morgana, a unique entity that is not quite a cat. Morgana’s abilities are especially useful for removing enemies from cover through his sweep attacks, thereby allowing teammates to follow up with critical and potentially enemy-downing moves. His Winds of Time voltage move inflicts damage over a broad area, simultaneously displacing enemies from their cover.
A newcomer to the Persona 5 universe, Erina, also makes an appearance in the trailer. As a revolutionary with a strong sense of justice, she has already proved her worth by rescuing the Phantom Thieves. Erina’s weapons target multiple enemies at once, and she has the capability to inflict high damage. When deploying her Flag of Freedom voltage move, she plants a flag on the battlefield, rendering nearby enemies vulnerable and providing healing to allies.
Beyond character-specific abilities, Persona 5 Tactica offers players the opportunity to customize various aspects of their characters. This feature encourages players to adjust and optimize their strategy according to the situation on the battlefield, enhancing their chances of success.
