3D pet simulation, Wobbledogs, is set to launch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles later this month.
Developed by Animal Uprising and published by Secret Mode, Wobbledogs initially launched for PC in March 2022, followed by a Nintendo Switch release in November 2022. Recently, it was announced that the game will finally be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 23rd.
In Wobbledogs, players will raise their unique collection of rapidly mutating dogs. These virtual pets are intricately designed, with detailed physical simulations that extend to their guts. It offers a casual and chill sandbox experience for players of all ages who want to care for their very own virtual pets in a surprising, unique, and stress-free environment.
The dogs in Wobbledogs possess highly varied bodies, controlled by a sophisticated simulated genetics system. As they age, they periodically enter a pupal state and physically mutate. Two dogs with separate body structures will experience the world in different ways. They also have unique personality traits that dictate their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and objects, further enriching the gameplay experience.
As players progress through the game, they will gain access to more and more objects and decorations, allowing them to create comfortable sleeping areas for their dogs, construct intricate mazes, or even cultivate vibrant gardens. While Wobbledogs can be enjoyed passively as an observation-based experience, direct interaction with the dogs is highly rewarding and encouraged.
Wobbledogs has received overwhelmingly positive reviews by PC and Switch players since its initial release. Most critics commended it for its unique take on the pet simulation genre while providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. PlayStation and Xbox players are particularly excited to share the same experience as the game’s release on their consoles draws closer.
You may add Wobbledogs to your PlayStation Store and Xbox Store wishlist now to be notified when it becomes available.
