Phasmophobia August 29th Patch Notes ( Update)

The new August 29th update for Phasmophobia has been released and we've got the patch notes with all the changes that were made!

Another Phasmophobia Exposition hotfix has just been added to the game in the August 29th, 2021 update. This comes hot off another hotfix that corrected various issues and added a few things to the game. This is mostly just bug fixes, however, so don’t expect much in the way of new content. Hopefully, if you’ve been having any issues, this will help alleviate them! You will find all of the changes and bug fixes in the official patch notes below.

Phasmophobia August 29th Update Log

  • The ghost will now move through the DOTS Projector at different speeds each time


  • Corrected a bug where video cameras would turn off in your hand if the CCTV monitor changed camera
  • Corrected a bug where the CCTV monitor would freeze if you walked out of the truck with a tripod
  • Corrected a bug where the DOTS Projector interaction would only work if the host placed it
  • Corrected an issue where the DOTS Projector interaction was happening twice as often if you placed two down
  • Corrected a spot where you could get stuck in the Ridgeview bedroom
  • Corrected several performance issues with the video cameras
  • VR: Corrected grab rotations for the tripod and flashlights
  • VR: Corrected a bug where video cameras weren’t opening after being grabbed
  • VR: Corrected a bug where video cameras weren’t staying open when placed on a tripod
  • Corrected a bug where you couldn’t see VR players head mounted cameras
