A new roadmap has been revealed for Kinetic Games’ paranormal investigation game Phasmophobia for 2024 and beyond. It details a packed roadmap that doesn’t say much but has a lot of promises. This also details the end of Early Access and a promise that consoles will eventually get the game.
What’s interesting about the roadmap is that it ditches specific release dates. Instead, the model is based on what update is coming. The developer has said that major updates will no longer hold back smaller features and bug fixes. So players can enjoy updates sooner.

According to the roadmap post, one of the bigger additions is Point Hope Lighthouse, a unique location offering circular, looping layouts and cramped quarters for a distinctly intense ghost-hunting experience. The team assures fans that its release is imminent, having recently received enhancements since they hired a dedicated Concept Artist.
Further down the line, existing farmhouse maps Bleasdale and Grafton will receive significant reworks, each receiving distinct themes and layout adjustments to distinguish them. Bleasdale will have a grand mansion aesthetic, while Grafton will lean into a shabby, workshop-infused atmosphere.
The roadmap outlines a lot of cool stuff in terms of pure gameplay mechanics. The upcoming updates will add new tasks and optional objectives, and the reward system will be revamped. A new piece of equipment, the sound recorder, gives investigations more depth.
As players eagerly await the game’s console release, Kinetic Games confirms the delay but says it will be worth it. Console players will get the latest Shop experience, revamped leveling and equipment tiers, and graphical optimizations. This is really just them saying the console version will have what the PC has.
The roadmap ends with Phasmophobia’s full exit from Early Access with the 1.0 update. The update includes updated player models and animations, enhanced customization, revamped ghost models, a complete overhaul of the hunt mechanics, and new interactive elements like hallucinations.
