Phasmophobia has released the Cursed Possessions update which brings a variety of new items to be found when you are attempting to complete a contract. These items can be useful, however, they are also filled with danger if you are unlucky. You will need to tread carefully if you want to utilize the power of these mystical items. Phasmophobia Tarot Cards Guide

Tarot Cards are a cursed possession, which have a 1 in 6 chance of spawning per contract. Each of the maps have a spot where the Tarot Cards can spawn if they are the chosen cursed possession that was randomly chosen. When a deck is created there are 10 cards in total, and it is possible to get repeat cards. Some of the cards are more rare than others!

Phasmophobia Tarot Cards Effects List

• Death – Drawing this card starts a Cursed Hunt.
• The Devil – Drawing this card will trigger a Ghost Event.
• The Fool – When you draw The Fool card, it will appear as another card before burning and showing itself to be The Fool. This card does nothing and will be drawn 100% of the time during a hunt.
• The Sun – Drawing this card will fully restore your sanity.
• The Moon – Drawing this card will reduce your sanity to zero.
• The High Priestess – Drawing this card will randomly resurrect one of your dead teammates. The player will respawn at the spot where they died.
• The Hanged Man – Drawing this card will instantly kill the player who drew it. However, this is the rarest card to draw, so you have to be unlucky to get it.
• The Hermit – Drawing this card will prevent the ghost from moving from its current room or shifting into hunt mode. This effect is similar to the Smudge Stick item.
• The Tower – Drawing this card will trigger a ghost reaction to happen somewhere at your location.
• The Wheel of Fortune – When you draw this card, it will either burn red or green. If it burns red, you will lose 25% of your sanity. If the card burns green, you will gain 25% sanity.
