The creators of the highly successful Eleven Table Tennis VR game have announced their latest project, Pickleball Pro VR. This new virtual reality simulator aims to provide players with the most realistic experience of the fastest-growing sport in the world, using top-notch real-life physics translated into VR.

Pickleball Pro VR is being developed as a pickleball simulator and training tool, with plans for single-player, multiplayer 1v1, and 2v2, as well as various training game modes. The game will be playable on Meta Quest and Pico Neo 4 VR headsets, and will be available for purchase on both platforms’ app stores once released.

An early access training tool version is targeted for a soft release in 2023, featuring training modes for dinking, drop shots, serving, and slams, as well as a completely configurable ball machine. A more complete release, including multiplayer and single-player matches, is expected later in 2023 or 2024.

Pickleball Pro VR is intended to complement real-life pickleball by providing benefits such as eliminating the need to chase balls, offering access to a global pool of players, and supplying a variety of computerized training tools like a highly configurable ball machine for rapid shot practice repetitions.

The game will allow for thumbstick-based movement, enabling training even in small standing areas like apartments. However, a larger playing area will provide a more realistic experience. The ultimate focus of Pickleball Pro VR is realism, as with Eleven Table Tennis, using a proprietary racket sport engine to enable spin, shot curving, and bounce direction effects.

For enhanced realism and immersion, an optional and highly recommended pickleball paddle adapter will be available for purchase, giving players the exact feeling of holding a paddle.

Pickleball Pro VR will feature multiplayer support in a later release, allowing players to connect with friends and family across states or countries, much like Eleven Table Tennis.
