Featured Planet Crafter Available

Planet Crafter is a space survival and terraforming crafting game set in an open environment. Transform a hostile planet’s environment to make it livable for mankind. You will attempt to survive, gather resources, construct your base, and then manufacture oxygen, heat, and pressure to create a new biosphere. It is now available on Steam in Early Access for $19.99 USD, but is currently on sale for $17.99 USD!

Here’s a bit more on what the game is all about:

You’ve been dispatched to a dangerous planet with only one goal: to make it habitable for humans. To heat the globe, generate an atmosphere with adequate oxygen, and eventually geo-engineer a full planet, you’ll have to live, collect resources, develop your base and machinery.

  • Character Thirst, Oxygen, Temperature, Health Mechanics
  • Base Building
  • Crafting
  • Mining ores
  • Build machines to create atmospheric pressure
  • Build machines to heat the planet
  • Create a biosphere with oxygen
  • Create life on a planet

According to the developers, the price will increase as the game grows, so get in early if this seems like something you’d be interested in:

“We want the price to represent what’s already in the game. As the game grows, the price will rise to correspond to the experience given to the player. So the price will change either over the course of Early Access, or at full launch.”

The game’s Early Access is said to last between one and two years, but this is obviously an estimate and it’s hard to know when exactly it will be available for full release.
