Join Ash, Brock, and Misty from the Pokémon animated series as they gather to compete for the title of Pokémon Puzzle Master in the Pokémon Puzzle League game. The game was initially released on Nintendo 64 but will be available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on July 15, 2022.
The official trailer showcases everyone’s beloved characters from the hit anime series and the types of puzzles you will have to play and win.
In Pokemon Puzzle League, Ash and Pikachu are on vacation when Professor Oak contacts them. He informs them they have been selected to participate in the Puzzle League Tournament.
Filled with excitement, the two race towards the Pokemon Puzzle League Village, where he must battle against some of his most formidable rivals, such as Gary, Team Rocket, and Giovanni. After defeating his opponents, he will go head to head with Mew Two in an ultimate battle.
The aim of this game is to clear blocks from the playfield by arranging them horizontally or vertically in three or more blocks. While arranging the blocks, a continuous stream of blocks pushes from the bottle of the playing field, causing it to rise. Players can stop the blocks from rising by scoring combos or chains. Clear the blocks to win!
Players need a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership to access Pokemon Puzzle League. The individual membership costs USD 49.99 annually, and the family membership is USD 79.99 annually.
Through the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, players will also gain access to other Nintendo 64 favorites such as Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, and Banjo-Kazooie.
