Publisher Raw Fury has recently made an announcement, revealing the upcoming release of a new horror title, Post Trauma, in Spring 2024 for PC and consoles. The news was unveiled through a new trailer showcased during the pre-show of Gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live.
Developed by Red Soul Games, Post Trauma, draws inspiration from classic horror titles of the past decades. In this game, players will take on the role of Roman, a middle-aged train conductor who finds himself trapped in a terrifying and twisted reality. Navigating through this eerie world, players will explore unique locations blending real-life and organic architecture in unsettling ways. Players will also solve puzzles and challenges as they gather essential tools and items for progress, requiring them patience and careful thinking. As Roman faces some of the formidable enemies, he might also resort to violence as a means of survival.
The brand-new trailer for Post Trauma provided a sneak peek at some of the puzzle-solving mechanics. Some of the grotesque enemies were also teased, including a multi-legged creature reminiscent of Sadako. While the narrative details remain largely undisclosed, the trailer concluded with a mysterious female voice guiding Roman’s actions.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Post Trauma combines fixed camera angles with stunning modern graphics, delivering a truly cinematic and unsettling horror experience. Featuring a third-person perspective, the game allows players to immerse themselves further by observing Roman’s visceral reactions to his surreal surroundings. Moreover, the game’s atmosphere is heightened by an engaging audio score, contributing to the overall sense of suspense and terror.
