Pathea Games has partnered with publisher Nuverse to announce the development of Project ME. This new project, set in the ‘My Time’ universe, aims to offer a unique gaming concept for players. While a comprehensive list of platforms hasn’t been disclosed yet, Android users can sign up for a closed alpha playtest via the game’s official website until June 20.

Aaron Deng, Vice President at Pathea Games, shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration with Nuverse in a press release. Deng emphasized the team’s dedication to expanding the ‘My Time’ IP, while also ensuring that the development of Project ME doesn’t interfere with the progress of My Time at Sandrock.

Keanu Ye, Publishing Director of Project ME, highlighted the positive feedback from the gaming community following the recent closed playtest on the game’s official Discord. The flood of in-game screenshots and appreciation for the new town management feature gave the team confidence about the game’s reception.

Project ME is designed to provide an open-world setting with a comforting vibe and an expansive oasis landscape for exploration. As the governor of a new settlement, players will not only manage their town but also have the freedom to customize their home. The game is intended to offer enhanced social experiences, with features allowing players to help each other build their towns in cooperative gameplay.

The game’s key features include open-world exploration with at least eight diverse regions, building and management simulation with enhanced customization options, and a mysterious storyline with deeper interactions with NPCs. It promises new storylines, lores, and roleplaying experiences in the ‘My Time’ universe. Players will also have the opportunity to employ NPCs, learning more about their skills as they lead the town as mayor.

Project ME aims to foster a player-driven ecosystem where both single-player and multiplayer experiences are enhanced by cooperative features.
