VIKENDI

With the addition of Vikendi to the Normal Match Pool maps, developers decided to add certain features to this map:

  • Blizzard Zone is now available in this update. This Vikendi-exclusive Zone can make players move slower, receive consistent damage per second, and can stagger vehicular movements.
  • Secret Room is added where it holds valuable items. However, a Security Key is needed to open the room.
  • Three new Repair Kits – Helmet, Armor, and Mechanic’s Toolbox – have arrived within the snowy Vikendi. These repair kits are consumables and have a relatively low spawn rate.
  • Multidrops are now evident in Vikendi. Multiple Care Packages, which hold high-tier weapons, armor, and consumables, are randomly dropped during a match.

CRAFTER PASS: SPRING FEST 2023

A new Crafter Pass celebrating the season’s sprays is coming soon. However, details surrounding this Pass are yet to be revealed.

SANHOK

  • Ascenders are added to Cave and Rock mountains. Ascender Attachments will be provided as starting items.
  • An additional bridge connecting the northwest and east islands (Bootcamp) and connecting the northwest and southwest island (Ruins) were added.
  • Sanhok-themed billboards have been added throughout the map.
  • Sand terrain has been added to certain areas for a more convenient trek.

TAEGO

  • Additional boat spawn spots have been added to Ranked.
  • Boat spawn locations have been slightly shifted closer to land for easier access.

GAMEPLAY

SCREEN PING MAKER

  • Screen Ping Markers will be automatically deleted after 120 seconds (previously 30).
  • A player’s Screen Ping Marker will be instantly removed if they leave the match or lose connection.

REPORT PLAYER

Previously, you were only able to report players who killed you or players you were spectating. Starting with update 21.2, players can now report players who Assisted in killing them.

  • Click the Report button located on the bottom of your death screen then select the assisted player.

TRAINING MODE

  • Winning streaks at the 1v1 Arena will now be recorded after the live server update.
  • Your winning streak will be reset to 0 once you lose a 1v1 Arena match.
  • A tied result will not affect your winning streak.
  • 1v1 Arena matches that end due to the Training Mode session’s time out will result in a tie and not affect your winning streak.
