Rain World: Downpour is a DLC expansion of the 2017 Rain World. In this enormous, reimagined universe, take control of five new characters with unique skills. Slugcats have developed alongside evolved predators to adapt to the hard environment! Survive new environmental conditions and perils while venturing into unknown areas.
In Downpour, you’ll return to the unyielding wild, where you’ll explore new, harsh places and battle new animals. The slugcat has progressed throughout time. Take use of the different talents that they possess and discover their own particular storylines with five varieties of the species.
The new DLC will contain the following features:
- Breaking New Ground to Explore – With ten expansive regions across thousands of new maps, environments, and weather to survive and discover
- Five Additional Characters – All with unique abilities, skillsets, gameplay style, and stories
- Challenge Mode – Put your survivability to the test in multiple pre-constructed arena scenarios, adapting to each room as the difficulty increases
- Safari Mode – Observe an ecosystem unfold! Revisit areas once explored safely through the eyes of an observer – control and play as other creatures in the game to influence the scene.
